DisappointedRebecccaI bought these in store so I didn’t read the reviews in advance. I also now see on the care tag affixed to the curtain the note about 4% shrinkage. I perhaps should have looked at the care tag before washing to make sure it matched the care instructions on the product label, but why would I assume they would be different? The product label that’s visible when purchasing notes that these are made of cotton, however, the information about shrinkage is not included. This feels misleading because I would expect something like a washable curtain to be pre-shrunk or explicitly state that it is not otherwise the length of the product is essentially false. I would argue that these are in fact not washable because as soon as you wash them the curtain is essentially ruined since the length is altered. Very disappointed. 1

Confirming uneven hems after washingCourtneyAfter seeing reviews that these curtains shrink in the wash, I opted to buy the 96" ones and hem them myself instead of buying the 86" versions (which would have perfectly fit my windows). I bought three pairs and washed them in warm water; each curtain shrank a different length, all between 4 and 8 inches, and several shrank unevenly. The good news is that they look really nice and expensive now that they're hemmed, and I like that they're 100% cotton.3
Great quality cotton curtainsJohnPurchased in the green and off-white. The off-white is on the warm to yellowy side fwiw. They definitely filter light nicely and add privacy. Obviously they are not blackout curtains and will not provide full privacy.
One pair had some length issues at the top but it wasn't a big deal. I do wish these had tabs for the rod instead of the string but can't complain at this price. I came back to buy more.
I don't personally need to wash curtains, but yeah 100% cotton is obviously going to shrink, even if you don't put them in the dryer. This is laundry 101.5
lightness and natural colorSusannaI'm upset because after I washed them, they became shorter by 3 inches and now they're short, I washed them in cold water and hung them wet, but they still became short, then I don't know what to do with them and how to take care of them

What Happened?! MarthaI absolutely loved my Lenda drapes but now they’re actually a different style! What happened to the tabs?! The off-white is now more tan! I tried hand washing my current ones bc of all the shrinkage complaints and well it was better than I anticipated although still shrunk some… definitely disappointed 2

Nice but production quality consistency issuesJornHeading tape is not consistently sowed on; it is actually not symmetrical and on some the short side is up and on other curtains the short side is down ( which is the correct way otherwise the rail is exposed and messy looking as the metal hooks sit too high - we noticed it after ironing, hooking and hanging and then clear that some curtains hang Lower others higher .. after some work we could see the issue is how the heading tape is sowed on. We will be returning 6 out of 10 curtains … getting 6 new ones - but I will open them in the store to exchange those that have similar issues to not have to do all that work again … nice curtains … first time I have gotten such sloppy quality from IKEA - surprised, frustrated that we put so much work into it only to return it so check in advance, we gave multiple sets with this issue ( we needed over 30 feet of curtain ). I’ll update review after getting this resolved. 2
Pretty, but sheer MadelineThese are very aesthetically-pleasing curtains, but they are almost sheer. Not “dimming” at all, tons of glare on my TV in the day, and you can see through them to the inside of my house at night. Love the look, wish they were thicker. 3
Love these JacquelineNeeded new drapes but I couldn’t find what I was looking for until I saw these at ikea. I grabbed two sets and took them straight home. I have to admit, I didn’t wash them but I’m glad because a lot of people said that their drapes shrank way too much after the first wash. Instead, I used dryel with a very low heat setting and my curtains were cleaned without shrinking at all. They’re still 98” long and hit the floor just how I like it. My only gripe is the flimsy pole tabs. Wish they would have used a piece of solid fabric instead of pieces of string clumped together. 5

Great Value!WendyI was looking at West Elm but decided to give Ikea a try and I am glad I did. These curtains are well made with quality material. The options with using different kinds of hangers is great. I had originally hung directly on the pole but ended up with the rings/pins.5
They look like $$$$ but are $JoyI am very happy with the curtains the faint stripe from top to bottom is the perfect guide to have a perfect pleat. They filter the light and look nice with the ties that come with the pair. I'd buy them again. 5
