The tabletop has pre-drilled holes to make it easier to attach to the underframe.
Board-on-frame is a strong and lightweight material with a frame in wood, particleboard or fiberboard and a recycled paper filling. It requires less raw materials and is easy to transport, which reduces the environmental impact.
It's easy to keep your workspace neat and tidy thanks to the cable management net and ties.
On the 2 shelves there is room for paper, notepads and books, which frees up space on the table top.
You can easily create room for both large and small things since the top shelf can be moved.

This desk has been developed and tested for home used and is not suitable for installation of a screen stand. Maximum evenly distributed weight is 110 lbs. Do not place concentrated weight exceeding 33 lbs. on a small surface on the desk.

Okay Desk but Top is Warped and Easily Damaged During DeliveryLisaWhen I first ordered the desk, it was delivered by FedEx in a smashed up box. All four corners seemed to have been banged hard against the ground and were coming undone, with the outer shell of the desktop peeling off. I contacted Ikea about FedEx damaging my desktop, and they sent me a new one. In terms of customer service, I had a good experience. However, when the new desktop arrived, it was again smashed (though less this time). Simply needing a desk, I put the table together, but all corners have some damage, with the brown insides showing through the white top, and one corner is very badly smashed, again with the siding coming undone. While FedEx is definitely at fault, the desk is clearly cheaply made and easily damaged. When I tried to push the desk back to my wall, I realized that the top is warped. The corners touch the wall, but there is a gap at the middle edge.
Building the desk was fine. Could make the holes for the Spand legs bigger. Works fine as desk, storage good.2
