Board-on-frame is a strong and lightweight material with a frame in wood, particleboard or fiberboard and a recycled paper filling. It requires less raw materials and is easy to transport, which reduces the environmental impact.

The plywood-patterned edge band adds to the quality feel.

Veey disappointedTaniaOver all its a nicely designed desk. But they sent me mine broken...on each edge it is lifted and you can see the materials underneath. Very disappointing, I hate buying something new and it be damaged. I honestly was so exhausted with the move and everything else, I i wasn't going to try and pack this and take it to the store or ship. I have no one to help me...but im very disappointed. Do better 1

I bought this desk for art and hobbies and it is just perfect. I love the adjustable top and saw horse legs. I particularly love that it is light and easy enough for me to move on my own. Only minus is the desk top does not seem very durable.
