Board-on-frame is a strong and lightweight material with a frame in wood, particleboard or fiberboard and a recycled paper filling. It requires less raw materials and is easy to transport, which reduces the environmental impact.
The tabletop has pre-drilled holes to make it easier to attach to the underframe.
The plywood-patterned edge band adds to the quality feel.

Mostly positiveFaithLove the ease of assembly and the versatility of the desk (I ordered 3 for a craft room). I am happy with everything about the desks; the only thing is that the tabletop is a little unforgiving - 2 small knicks already. But it's a utility table so not a big issue for me.

I recommend if you have one to use a drill with the screw driver attachment because doing it by hand with a regular screw driver could take a while. The product was slightly damaged in one corner but that was due to the delivery person dropping it but other than that it’s worth it for the price and I would recommend.
Incorrect Screw Size for Prefabbed HolesDianneI like Ikea products and have purchased this type of table before and the installation was a breeze. Not this one! The screw size I received was far too large to go into the prefabbed holes. I had a rummage around the garage to find the right screw size. Ridiculous. Why make it harder than it needs to be for consumers.
