I wouldn’t recommend this cutting baordBonnieWe’ve had this cutting board since August. It’s our 2nd one but definitely not the same as our first one from Ikea, we had that one for a few years. This one for some unexplained reason is all of a sudden warped and doesn’t lie flat anymore. 6 months and it’s not really usable anymore.1
Product was damagedClaudiaAs I opened the plastic bag was about to oil the surface I noticed pieces of wood were coming off of the board. Packaging protection was likely insufficient for the item shipped or was already partially damaged when sent out2

Not sure the extra piece of wood is a good addition, just stops you using both sides easily, unless you place it on the edge of your worktop, but I don’t like it that close to the edge, so that piece, IF I decide to use the……..thing, will be coming off.
BUT - I cannot understand why a cutting board is supplied WITHOUT being oiled and ready for use, that is simply stupid!
I understand that it might increase the cost, by what????? $3 to €5…….max?
If I decide to use it, I’ll trim it down to the channel, and repurpose the use of the channel.2
Poor qualitySophiaAfter only a few uses and following care instructions (hand washing with mild soapy water) the surface of the board is COVERED with tiny splinters that are getting into our hands and food.1
