Really enjoying it!TGood quality, I washed it, treated it with food grade hemp oil (food grade linseed oil is great too), gave it a light sanding to knock off raised grain and have been using it for a couple of months. I actually like using it as a spatula, the short handle is really convenient.

Good rice paddle but cheapYvetteThe wood is not cheap as walnut is a good hardwood, so this is a value there. But, the handle is lacking and flat, like a plank from the hardware store. I like that the paddle part is on the flat side, though, because that means less rice sticking to carved out parts, and it's easier to scrape the rice off of the paddle with a spatula or something like that.
I like the way this rice paddle looks, though, with the richness of the walnut. I do recommend it, but I would also say the design could have been better.
