A sweet scent of vanilla and warm milk with hints of coconut.

Suitable when you want to create a cozy atmosphere at home with inspiration from crisp autumn days in the city or sunsets by the sea.

The candle jar’s unique color pattern is created by its several layers of glaze reacting with each other during firing.

You can use the lid as a coaster when the candle is lit to protect the underlying surface – and you’ll always know where the lid is too.

When the candle has burnt itself out, you can use the ceramic jar to store small things, as a plant pot or as a tealight holder.

Strange scent ... AmyWhile I LOVE the container this candle came in, the scent just doesn't do it for me. The $11.99 price is amazing, especially because of the large size of the candle & long burn time. While I usually love vanilla but there is a secondary scent that doesn't smell good to me. What is plant-based wax?

All candles in our range are good at creating a cozy atmosphere and we choose various materials so that we always end up with the best shape, function and quality. Plant-based wax is well-suited for tealights or other candles in holders. The plant-based wax is made from raw materials like rapeseed oil, soybean oil and shea oil – and is a natural result of our decision that all materials we use in our candles will be renewable or recycled at the latest by 2030.

The idea when I designed the ceramic scented candle holder for IKEA was that the timeless properties of the material would help make the simple item special. I hope people will think that the holder is so beautiful that they’ll want to keep it even after the candle burns out – and reuse it in new ways for a long time."
