great dispenser but bamboo lid does grow moldElenaas many other reviewers said, this bamboo lid starts growing black mold. Ended up substituting with an extra glass pot lid I had in my pantry. Worked like a charm
No safe, grows mold VeronikaThe lid is terrible, after couple of days a nice colony of mold has formed...had to throw it out.

Slow flow valveRobertI cannot believe anyone else hasn't had an issue with the slow flow of the valve. It was cheap at the time we got it. Now it's at least doubled in price. Design may have improved since the price gouging, but I'm talking a trickle of water. Is even too slow for a young child, but no matter. We love IKEA products, but this combined with the lid maintenance ahead of us and I'd recommend something else unless you have time to clean or protect the lid and wait twice as long for your cup to fill.

Lid Molded Anonymous reviewerI love the glass container and purchased two. Unfortunately, like many others stated, the lid molded. I contacted customer service and was told I need to buy a completely new one because the this item doesn't have a warranty.
Moldy lidGeetikaLike the glass and wide mouth, but same problem as everyone else - moldy lid. Tried a few things like spraying/cleaning with vinegar and sun-drying but nothing helped. Also, last bit of liquid is hard to come out even when tilted. I hope a silicone replacement lid is available soon.
Nice dispense, lid needs workAnonymous reviewerSame problem as everyone else, if you splash moisture onto the lid, it gets moldy. Please either change the lid design or sell a replacement/substitute made of silicon or glass.
NiceStephanieI like the sleek design and bamboo lid. The turning nozzle seems backwards to me as my "off" is facing out. I've dumped liquid out several times thinking it was closed! It works well and fits in my fridge fine but is difficult to get the last bit of liquid when it gets low.
Moldy lidRobertWe are experiencing mold growth in the lid which is unhealthy. We live > 60 miles from the nearest Ikea, so returning it for a refund isn't a practical option. Does Ikea have a solution such as a replacement lid that won't grow mold?
Great size with a wide lidAlexThe wide bamboo lid makes this easy to clean - and no plastic!
Moldy lidJonathanThe dispenser itself is nice, but the lid will start to grow mold from the moisture. Tried leaving the lid ajar but still grows mold. Ended up buying a silicone lid top to replace it.
Mold, but there is solutionRobertGood looking product.
Due to the material of the lid, and high moisture environment within the jug, it doesn't take long for mold to grow on the wooden(bamboo?) lid.
I ended up taping up the under side of the lid, this way it still looks the same, but it effectively separates the lid from the high humidity air within the jug. And mold never grows again.
I would suggest Ikea to either change the material of the lid or have a film of rubber like material on the bottom of the lid to protect the wood from moisture. The wooden lid does make it look good.
Lid is growing moldIrinaI left a review on this product months ago and was told someone would reach out and they never did. I just reach out to customer support and was not given a refund. I submitted photos of the lid with actually mold all over it. This is absolutely disgusting do not buy it
