Product details

The knife is very durable, balanced, and easy to clean, since it is made of a single piece of stainless steel.

Made of molybdenum/vanadium stainless steel, which is why the knife stays sharp for a very long time.

Grooves on the handle give a firm, secure grip, and keep the knife from sliding in your hand.

Great knife for a great priceTheresaI am pleasantly surprised at how nice these knives are or the price. I have paid much more in the past at other stores and not impressed with quality. May purchase more for gifts.5
Great Set of Stainless Steel Kitchen KnivesSabira A.We bought these as we were looking for better quality kitchen knives for daily use that would be more durable. This set is perfect for our needs. We use them daily and sharpen them when needed. Out of the many knives we've owned and tested, these are our favorite. Whether you're in dorms or your home I can't recommend these enough. If you put in a little effort to maintain them, they should last you quite a while. Don't run them through the dishwasher as it can warp them, hand wash and dry, and sharpen them when they're dull.5
KnivesJodyPurchased for my granddaughter, I'm told they are very sharp and well balanced.5

365+ Knife SetCharlesThought they were dishwasher safe. The got rust spots on the first wash. Other than that they are nice lightweight knives.4
FavoriteRebeccaThese are my favorite knives ever. This is so much better than other brands I’ve had. Stay clean and easy to take care of.5
FlimsyAnnA good knife has weight to it. I can't see these lasting long. They are very flimsy and don't even fit in the knife block.1

Great knife setKelvinGreat set of knives for the budget conscious shopper. Their weight is decent without being heavy. The set pairs nicely with the Hyvla block, and -- overall -- looks nice in my kitchen. My only gripe is that they could've spent a little more time on the grip aesthetic... but it does not impair the functionality or comfort of the knives.5
Sleek and sharpChelseaThese knives are so sharp, be careful taking out of the package. They will stay beautiful if you wash them by hand and immediately dry them, you’ll avoid water spots and discoloration. They have good balance and the different sizes help eliminate having to buy a bunch of other knives.5
Easy to handleSharonVery easy in the hand. Be very careful they are sharp.5

What is stainless steel?

Stainless steel is found in everything from building structures and cars to sinks and knives. It’s easy to see why it has so many uses. Stainless steel is hard and durable and has good resistance to corrosion – namely rust. It generally has a low nickel content, and for IKEA products we mainly use stainless steel that’s nickel-free. Like many other metals, it can be recycled again and again to become new, hardwearing items – without losing its valuable properties.
