Super Sharp Super Stylish! Super!MinaThey’re as sharp in function as they are in image. Very easy to clean with an all stainless steel body. Cooking is so easy with these, and they slice excellently! They hold very nicely and have a good weight to them! They fit well in the IKEA knife holder I got from the store too!
Extremely Disappointed – Knife Broke in Half After Only One Year of Normal Use Kelen-SandraI am very disappointed with this knife. We have used IKEA knives before and have always been happy with them, which is why we bought this one. However, after only one year of use, it broke completely in half while my husband was simply spreading cream cheese on a piece of bread. He wasn't cutting anything hard at all.
A kitchen knife should definitely not break under such normal use. Unfortunately, this experience has been very disappointing and has made me question the quality of this product.
Beware! KarlaWhen I first saw these knives, I thought they would be a good choice. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. While I was cooking, one of the knives suddenly broke and a piece flew down toward my feet, which was very frightening. I was genuinely shocked, as I’ve never had a knife break while simply cutting food (and I was not cutting anything hard).
I even have a photo to document what happened. Based on my experience, I would advise others to be cautious. The steel does not seem strong or durable.
Quality knivesNicoleThese are great quality for the price. I will buy another set just to have them on hand. VERY SHARP and heavy duty. They seem like they will last for a while.
Great knives for the moneyStephenThese knives are fantastic! They hold an edge and with the IKEA sharpener, I can get them so sharp, they slice through a tomato, even a soft one, like butter. For the money, they are the best. Be sure and purchase the sharpener along with the knives.
