Very durable, bombproof utensil set.JohnI've had this utensil set for a few years now, and they look about the same as they always have. They're not the world's best utensils, but they're nice and durable and they last. A few years ago, one fell into my disposal and came back out with only tiny scrapes around the edges.
I'm writing this review because tonight I accidentally poured one of my teaspoons into my blender with some smoothie ingredients and I was looking for a replacement. Aside from being bent into a C-shape, some very light chipping and some minor scratches, the spoon is fine - my blender took the brunt of that.
I'll have to replace the blender pitcher, but I bent the handle back into shape and the spoon is still a perfectly functional spoon. If it weren't for the slight scratches from the blender, it would look just like all of the rest of my spoons.
This utensil set is bombproof. It's not the fanciest set ever, no, but it will last you for years and years of quiet, faithful service.
looks old and rustGabyI was surprised but the set not only looks but feels old, stained and rusty. Not happy with this purchase.
