sturdy bed for my 5 year oldJessicaWe've been loving this bed for about 18 months now. It's for my 5 yr old daughter and it's held up well to her antics. I put it together mostly by myself and it went well. Planning to buy another when her little sister is ready for a big girl bed. The only thing to note is that it does sit a bit high for young kids so she has to climb into it, but we don't mind that. Could always use a step stool.5

Layout all the pieces and make sure you have everything. I had purchased 2 other twin beds and these by far were the better quality bed.5
