I Assembled Two Desks – My ReviewRyanI assembled two BOLLSIDAN sit/stand desks, each taking about 25 minutes using the IKEA instructions. The process was straightforward for anyone familiar with furniture assembly. Six screws in the middle section that go into the wooden top don’t have pilot holes, so a bit of pressure is needed to get them started—rubber washers help prevent overtightening if the correct screws are used. The desk weighs about 65 pounds and feels sturdy for a single-leg design, showing only slight movement at full height. The motor runs quietly but moves slower than expected for this price range. The controller is basic and lacks memory presets, which can make frequent adjustments tedious. The design has nice built in cable management for the electric controller. Overall, the BOLLSIDAN has solid build quality and a clean design, though it feels a bit high-priced for its feature set.4
Solid Build Quality, Missing Key FeaturesRyanI assembled two of these desks. Each of the desks took about 25 minutes following the IKEA instructions. The process was straightforward if you’re comfortable with furniture assembly, though I wouldn’t recommend trying to disassemble and repack it later. One note: six screws in the middle section lack pre-drilled pilot holes, so you’ll need to apply some pressure to get them started—just don’t overtighten.
The desk weighs approximately 65 pounds and feels solid once assembled. For a single-leg design, it has minimal wobble even at full extension, performing better than comparable brands I’ve tried. The motor operates whisper-quiet, though it’s noticeably slower than other desks in this price range.
The main compromise is the controller—it lacks memory presets that competitors typically include.
Overall, the BOLLSIDAN offers superior build quality and a clean aesthetic.

Nice DeskJimI would definitely recommend this product, it's great for sitting and standing. As for the assembly, it went perfectly without any issues, the only extra tool I needed was a phillips screwdriver. The only recommendation I have, it should be offered in more color/finish choices.5
Should've listened to reviewsNickkiShould've listened to the reviews because the same exact issue happened to me. It's starting to sound like a pattern with this model, not just an unlucky quality issue from the person before me. The holes were misaligned where you join the leg, so I was only able to screw in 2 out of the 4 holes. Fine. Then, when I tried to adjust the height, it wobbled and stopped. It basically only adjusts the right leg so it gets lopsided and then gets stuck. I lugged this thing up of flight a stairs, I would hate to have to undo everything and lug it back to the store to return it.1
Great productJenyaI am very happy with this desk. My husband put it together with no issues. This desk made my life so much easier. 5
This desk is completely defective and does not work!SophiaFirst of all, the holes do not line up to put the important legs to the base. Second, when pressing the the up and down button, the desk shakes from side to side but never goes up or down! They should not be selling this item without making sure it's legit.1
