Doesn't come with instructionsNickThis is not a complete unit, it's multiple pieces with individual instructions, but no instructions or mounting hardware for the whole unit. The top part must be mounted to the wall. There is no way to connect the top to the uprights. The top is 3 pieces held together by 6 very skinny screws. This piece will need serious modification to come out like we is pictured.
Budget mediaBethI love this piece but based on previous reviews I hired a task rabbit to put this together for me. I did this during checkout here. It took him 8 hrs to put it together but it looks amazing and adds so much storage to my living room!
Worst quality product I have ever seen from IKEANickDont waste your time, money, or frustration with these. First, almost every fitting is plastic, and the some of the drawers particle board is so cheap that it cracks from pushing plastic parts into the holes. The largest problem is a terrible draw leveling system and mounting brackets for both the drawers and the top shelves. The top frames have ZERO adjustability in the mounting brackets. SO if your wall is even slightly out of true or you have to make adjustments after, you have to completely redo your anchors and move the whole bracket by a tiny amount. Almost guaranteed this will happen because of the super arbitrary way you mark the bracket location on the wall, and then need to flip and re-level the bracket before mounting. The drawer levelers are cheap notchy plastic that are difficult to access after install, and because the drawer mounting brackets have so much play you will need to level every single door face. I need more than 999 characters to explain how terrible this is.
