This rug was made by skilled craftspeople with good working conditions and fair wages at organized weaving centers in India and Bangladesh.

  • This rug fits with a 2-3 seat sofa, but can also fit other size sofas depending on how you place it.

    This rug fits under a 4-seat dining table, but can of course be used how and where you like in your home.

    You will need 1 STOPP FILT rug underlay with anti-slip (5'5"x7'9") for this rug. Trim if necessary.

    Care

    Airing and vacuuming will help to eliminate the smell that the rug can have when it is new.

    Do not wash.

    Do not bleach.

    Do not tumble dry.

    Do not iron.

    Do not dry clean.

    Vacuum and rotate the rug regularly.

    New wool rugs shed naturally. Vacuum frequently in the beginning.

    Remove dried spots immediately by scraping carefully towards the middle of the spot.

    Do not rub wet spots. Absorb moisture with paper towels, and clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent.

    Always use the standard floorhead, never the rotating brush, when vaccuming the rug.

  • Use STOPP FILT anti-slip rug underlay under the entire rug for increased safety.This product has been tested for domestic use.

Gorgeous, but smallRalucaI just moved into a studio apartment and bought this rug, which looks absolutely gorgeous, but it is too small for the space. Just as someone else suggested, I would have loved to be able to buy it in various sizes. It was on sale for $99 at my local Ikea and I got an additional 15% with a student discount. 5
LOVEPaigeThis rug and the one in pink were on sale for $60 at my local IKEA and I am absolutely in love with them. They flatten out perfectly, and they hold up to our light traffic. The only thing I will add is that they do get sucked up while vacuuming so you will have to hold it down somewhat when doing so. I would love to go get more! 5
perfect rugMeganThe last thing I do before I go to bed every night is tell this rug how much I love it. It is so perfect to frame the base of my queen bed in my tiny bedroom. I love the golden color and mixed texture. It brightens up the room with some cream/white without actually being a fully cream or white rug which would terrify me. It has been easy to maintain so far. It stays nicely flat so far.5

Form design process

Made using the Panja weaving technique
