not easy to flipAnonymousproblem is that the mattress has a fabric 'top' and an anti-slip 'bottom', so when rotatingthe mattress, you can't easily flip it unless you remove the cover, flip the foam, and then put the cover back on. this is an arduous process. the smooth side of the foam is also more comfortable to sleep on, so i already had to do this once. quite annoying. but the price is good, and once flipped, also very nice to lay down on. we are using this on a solid surface, so i can't say how this would feel on slats.
Somewhat thin.JerryFor those of you who need a lot of support while sleeping, please consider something else. I know the price point makes it more appealing, but unless you're in very good health (or used to sleeping on uncomfortable surfaces like say- a soldier) then this mattress will not give you the rest you need. The construction is good overall, though!

Do not waste your money nor time with this mattressErickThis Sponge pad(thats all it is) is soft and thin, feels like you are sleeping over the bare bed slats/structure. If you are over 100 pounds this mattress will offer you a lot of pain. Pain in the knees and buttocks when you get into the bed and hip and back pain when you sleep on it. If that is not enough, the sponge does not dissipate heat, giving you the sensation that you are sleeping half wrapped on a sheet of plastic. Finally the mattress case is made of the cheapest coarse fabric they could source, only comparable to the blankets/pillow you get on an airplane. I would have given it no Stars at all.

like sleeping on a rockMicki bought two of these to go with the flekke daybed a couple years ago, and i'm not going to sugarcoat it: this is probably the most uncomfortable mattress i've ever slept on. it's so firm that it literally feels like you're laying on a rock. that's not to say that its quality is poor (hence the 2 stars instead of 1), though. you get a good, cost-effective mattress, and their thinness is great for low profile beds, but if you're a side sleeper, it is just awful to sleep on. this thing has exacerbated my chronic pain for years now. to say that i'm disappointed is a bit of an understatement.

Twin MattressMa.Need to air it out due to smell, it didn’t plug as much as we expected, it was thin, instead of using the mattress for two beds, we both use it for one to make it comfortable and soft. Will not buy it and not recommend.

Futon mattress type firm feelAnitaI was replacing an old futon mattress and wanted something similar as far as firmness. I also like foam mattresses and was happy to find this one and at a decent price. I knew one would be too thin (and I would still feel the wood slats on the bottom of the bed) but getting two on top of each other would be perfect. Happy to report that the end result is as I had envisioned. Since this is a bed mainly used by guests, I also added a thin mattress topper to add a touch of softness but overall, stacking the two mattresses gave a nice, firm result. They look very basic but appear well sewn.
Just what I was needingJoeyI needed a tru firm mattress. The padding is thin enough to still provide comfort while using the hard platform for the firmness. I sleep better on maximum firmness.

Doesn’t fit the Kira bedAmandaBought this for my son’s Kura bed .. it’s too short and too wide … why is that the case? I traveled 2 hours to get this and can’t use it now. Really annoying when you have to have IKEA twin mattresses for their beds because normal ones don’t fit but this one doesn’t fit either.
