No lightbulb replacement foundLorenaI love the design of this lamp. But once the lightbulb breaks you have to buy a new one. No one sells that lightbulb including Ikea. It’s wasteful. I believe they do this on purpose to make the customer buy a new lamp. The light bulb I’ve found with the same exact number has a different prone system and it doesn’t fit.
Do not buyMagdalenaAbsolute worst customer service. Effing lamp installed, bulb dies few months in. No replacement. Customer service tells me to “go to local stores to see if they might have discontinued replacement bulbs”. The fact they still carry this product is a joke.

I have tried in four different US stores, asked friends to check in Canada and in France and THIS BULB IS UNAVAILABLE anywhere. I wrote customer service and they said it is discontinued. Clearly the lamp is not discontinued, just the bulb. If they can keep making it for the lamp, why can't it be sold for replacement parts?
If you want to replace your bulb you will need to get another lamp. So frustrating.
Otherwise, a beautifully simple little lamp.

Bulb life is very short and there are no replacementsElizabethI bought two Fubbla lights last year and installed them. Within two months of very light use, one light bulb went out. I have been looking for the light bulb (guz5.3 with a unique plug) and now discover that there are no bulbs sold for this product and that is not "available to order as a spare part," as is stated in the product specifications on the Ikea website. If you are going to go the trouble to install these, you may want to consider purchasing something else. The IKEA chat online help told me that they could not help and promptly ended the chat before I could respond. *Ikea, if you are seeing this, please send me replacement bulbs.
Practical! DanWhat a practical lamp!! Clean design (although the blue cord is an odd choice). The thing we would change is the way it diffuses - it needs the ability to diffuse more and also to be brighter…a bit of an odd shade of light for relaxing. We use another warmer lamp with it. Very convenient design though!

Great lamp, insanely large plugBarbaraIt’s a kid’s lamp but even the largest outlet covers can’t accommodate the plug. I’d have purchased multiple lamps if I could secure the plug and if furniture didn’t have to be so far off the wall for the plug to fit.
Gave room a weird smellMaceyI purchased two of these to hang above my night stands as reading lights. I love the way they look and their functionality. However, I started noticing a weird chemical smell in my room (although faint). Nothing else has changed in my room other than the new lights so I’ve concluded that the smell is coming from them. Wondering if anyone else has had this issue.

Great reading light for kidsBethanyThis is my third purchase of this light. the first two are each mounted over a bed headboard for reading in bed. This one is for an arm chair. It is very easy to hang on drywall. I lucked out this time by being able to use the studs. I wish the cord was a bit longer as it is draped behind the chair to be able to reach the outlet. The chunky plug part sticks out quite a bit - fine for this application, but required the headboards to be a bit further from the wall than I would have liked. Overall, good for the cost and the instructions do say that the bulb is replaceable, but I have not needed to do that yet. Since the lamp head is moveable, I noticed that when mounted to the stud it is much sturdier. Because kids move the light to meet their needs and are not as gentle as an adult would be. The one mounted with anchors is a bit loose which hopefully won't mean that it will need to be moved as then it will be at a different height and will look a bit off.

A little disappointedDanielThe dimmer on the light is a little shade that turns in front of the bulb. It really didn’t work well. The bulb fell out of one but after I removed the screws that held the shade I as able to maneuver it back into place. A bit of a hassle. The lights work ok next to the kids beds
