How can I fix IKEA items to the wall?
At IKEA, we believe home should be a safe place for everyone — especially the little ones. And there’s a simple way to help prevent accidents: secure your furniture to the wall.
All our products come with included safety fittings. Just follow the instructions in the manual and use the right wall hardware for your home.
If you no longer have the kit, you can order a new one for free on our spare parts page. The part number is 106990.
📌 Important: the wall hardware (such as plugs and screws) depends on your wall type and is therefore sold separately.
To make installation even easier, you can use the TRIXIG set — with 175 pieces including screws and plugs, it’s a versatile solution for different wall types.
