How do I know if my IKEA product is eligible for an exchange or return?

You can exchange or return your IKEA products within 365 days from the day of your purchase.

You can exchange or return an item that has been opened/sealed/assembled, as long as it is complete/unused/in good condition. Refunds are subject to the condition of the product. Refunds for all opened and assembled articles will be issued in the form of an IKEA Digital Refund Card (DRC).
No matter what IKEA channels or stores you bought a product in, you have the right to exchange or return your product where and how it suits you - you can reach out to your nearest IKEA store or opt for online services.
Note: IKEA will not be able to accommodate exchanges or returns without a valid receipt or proof of purchase.
 

IKEA products that can’t be exchanged or returned​:

Dirty, stained, damaged, parts missing or adapted/altered products are excluded from our IKEA exchange and return policy.

B2B Purchases and Change of Mind:

For B2B purchases (in case of change of mind), products can be exchanged or returned within 90 days. An extended 365-day benefit applies only if the products are unused and in their original packaging.

Product issue, delivery damage, and damage during assembly by IKEA team:

Product damaged by customer:
