Can I return a product that I have already opened/sealed or assembled?

You can return your products to the store within 365 days, even if the product is opened/sealed or assembled. We can also help with collection from your home where fees are applicable.

You can return an item that has been opened, sealed, or assembled, as long as it is complete, unused, and in good condition. Refunds are subject to the condition of the product.
To make your return smoother:
  • If the item is in an assembled condition, please dismantle it and pack it as compactly as possible.
  • Fill out our Express Return Form before visiting your nearest IKEA store.
  • Remember to bring your receipt or proof of purchase.
  • If you paid by card, please bring the same card used for the original transaction.

    Need help with pickup instead?
  • We can arrange a pickup from your location. Simply fill out our Returns Form. Before raising a pickup request:
  • Please dismantle the item if it is assembled.
  • Ensure it is packed with minimal but secure packaging to enable a smooth pickup.
Pickup charges will apply and are based on the weight of the product.
