Can I return a product that I have already opened or assembled?

You can return your products to the store within 365 days, even if the product is opened or assembled. We can also help with collection from your home where fees are applicable.

It is possible to return an item that is open or assembled, if the item is complete and and in an unused state. It is also possible to get a partial refund depending on the state of the product. Remember to bring your receipt or proof of purchase to an IKEA store for your return. If you shopped with a card, you also need bring the same card you made the purchase with. Please keep in mind that a final evaluation is always made at the Customer Service desk in the store and the return must be made within 365 days. For more information about returns at IKEA.
