Can I return a product that I have already opened or assembled?

You can return your products to the store within 365 days, even if the product is opened or assembled. We can also help with collection from your home where fees are applicable.

You can return an item that’s been opened or assembled—as long as it’s complete, unused, and in good condition. Refunds are possible depending on the state of the product. To make your return smoother, please fill out our Express Return Form before visiting your nearest IKEA store. Don’t forget to bring your receipt or proof of purchase, and if you paid by card, please bring the same card used for the transaction. Remember to bring your receipt or proof of purchase to an IKEA store near to you for your return.
