What can I do to prevent my sink from rusting?
Rust stains can develop over time on a stainless-steel sink due to dissolved iron in the water supply. However, with proper maintenance, they can be prevented.
We recommend drying the sink with a clean cloth after use, and always wiping in the direction of the steel grain during cleaning. If needed, use a soft cloth dampened with water and a mild, non-abrasive dish detergent or soap.
Avoid using scouring powders, steel wool, or any hard or sharp tools, as these can scratch and damage the stainless steel surface.
