If you are having trouble starting the hob, it may be because the boil-over protection is activated, there is a problem with the fuses, the control panel is wet or you have wet fingers, or the child lock is activated. Make sure you have dry hands and that the control panel is dry and clean. If it still can't start, check the fuses connected to the hob.

Read moreOn most models, you activate the child lock by holding down the button with the padlock symbol, or the pause sign, for 3-4 seconds. An audible signal and/or warning light above the symbol indicates that the function has been activated. The control panel is now locked with the exception of the On/Off button. To deactivate the child lock, proceed in the same way as to activate it. When the hob's child safety lock is activated, the "L" symbol or a padlock appears in the display.
