Order failed or missing confirmation? What should you do next?
A failed order occurs in an online order, that doesn't complete successfully during checkout — with or without a payment deduction.
1. When the Order Fails Before Payment Is Initiated
- Clear browser cache and cookies
- Close any additional checkout tabs
- Retry placing the order using a fresh browser session
- If possible, try using another browser or device
2. When the Order Fails During the Payment Process
- Retry the payment
- Ensure a stable internet connection during payment
- If the amount was not debited, you can attempt the order again safely
- If the amount was debited, proceed below.
3. Payment Completed but No Order Confirmation (No Order Number Generated)
- An order confirmation email
- An order number
- Any visible order in their account
- Spam/Junk folder in their email.
- Whether you received any confirmation SMS.
- If the amount shows as debited or pending in their bank statement.
