What payment methods and financing options does IKEA offer?

Whether you’re buying a new kitchen or just an IKEA meat balls, there are many ways to pay. Your preferred payment method may vary depending on where you shop and what you’re buying. You can use a variety of popular easy and convenient payment options to pay for your IKEA purchase.

1. Paying at an IKEA store

When shopping at an IKEA store you can pay for your purchase using the following payment options:
  • Cash.
  • All major debit & credit cards  (VISA, Mastercard, RuPay, Maestro, Diners and American Express).
  • Various apps/wallets like Google Pay/PhonePe/Paytm.
  • IKEA Gift cards and IKEA Refund cards, vouchers, coupons and discount codes.
  • IKEA Financial services by Bajaj Finserv and the IKEA Family credit card by Axis Bank (no EMI service applicable on IKEA Food).

2. Paying on IKEA.com

When shopping online on the IKEA website, here’s how you can pay for your purchase:

3. Paying on the IKEA App

4. Paying at Remote Order Service (Customer Support Center)

For orders placed through Customer Support Center through a secure mode:
  • IVR – We accept all major debit & credit cards  (VISA, Mastercard, RuPay, Maestro, Diners and American Express). 
  • NEFT/ RTGS – Bank transfer.
  • Link to pay - You can pay through Visa, Mastercard, DinersClub, RuPay, UPI, IKEA Gift Cards.
  • IKEA Financial services by Bajaj Finserv and the IKEA Family credit card by Axis Bank (no EMI service applicable on IKEA Food).

5. Paying at Design and Pick Up Points

At the IKEA Design Points and Pick Up Points, all standard methods of payment for stores are accepted in order to make payments as seamless as possible.
 

What if I have problems paying online?

Payment fails: If you are attempting to make an online payment and it fails, consider re-entering your payment details or using an alternative payment method.
If you are trying to pay with a credit or debit card, make sure that:
  • You’ve entered the card details correctly (name, card number and CVV).
  • You have sufficient funds.
In case the payment still fails, you might need to contact your bank.

My voucher, coupon or discount code is not accepted

IKEA coupons and discount codes generally have a limited validity and expiration date. If you can't apply your coupon/discount code, make sure that you first check that it's still valid. Some coupons and discount codes can also be used only on a selection of products, so make sure you check what conditions apply.

Payment through an Order PayLink provided by a customer service representative

If you are attempting to use an Order PayLink and it fails, try the following options:
  • Check your email and make sure that the link is still valid.
  • Open a different browser and copy the link into the address bar. You should be able to see the payment page.
  • If you cannot find the email in your inbox, please check the Spam folder.
 

What if I have problems paying via IKEA App?
