What delivery options does IKEA offer?
IKEA offers Home Delivery (both Parcel & Truck Delivery), and Click & Collect.
All IKEA deliveries fall into two categories — Parcel Delivery or Truck Delivery, depending on the weight of your order.
Parcel Delivery:
If your order weighs 20 kg or less, it will be delivered as parcel delivery (for smaller items like home accessories and textiles). This option is ideal for smaller orders like accessories or home decor where the total weight of the order does not exceed 20kgs. Parcel orders are delivered to your selected delivery address with the option to add an 'Authority to Leave' as long as there is a safe and secure location to do so.
Truck Delivery:
For orders over 20 kg, we’ll deliver your items as truck delivery (for larger furniture and bulkier products). This option is ideal for both small and large orders which delivers your items either at door-step or inside a room of your choice. To use this service, add your desired items to your cart, choose 'Home Delivery' at checkout. Provide detailed delivery instructions, select your preferred delivery day, and confirm your order.
'Authority to Leave' can be selected for this service, in the instance where you are not at the property at the time of the delivery, the delivery driver will attempt to leave your order as long as there is a safe and secure location to do so.
For larger orders, articles may arrive in multiple packages. Please check all articles carefully, to avoid article missing.
Click & Collect/ Pick-up point:
The Click & Collect or Pickup point service allows you to collect your order from your selected IKEA stores. Once your order is ready for collection, you will receive an SMS or email notification with instructions on how and where to collect your order. You will need to have Government ID proof and a copy of your proof of purchase ready to show the co-workers at the store. If you have arranged for someone else to collect the order on your behalf, they will need to bring the original order confirmation or tax invoice and Government ID. In the event where you are unable to collect your order, it will be held for 1 day from the collection date.
