How do I choose between different delivery options?
To choose the best delivery option, consider the size and type of your order: Parcel Delivery for smaller items, and Truck Delivery for larger or bulky items. If you prefer picking up your items, Click & Collect offers flexibility. For home deliveries, check available timeslots, lead times, and costs.
- For smaller, lighter items (decoration, textiles, or accessories) that fall under 20kg, Parcel Delivery will be automatically selected. This is a budget friendly delivery option that allows more flexibility.
- For larger furniture or bulky orders that might require help carrying and placement in your home, Truck Delivery (either 'To The Door' or 'In The Home') is recommended which is a cost-effective choice for heavier shipments ranging from 20 kg to 500 kg.
- Either Parcel or Truck option would be automatically selected under 'Home Delivery' option based on the total weight of your order.
- If you have a flexible schedule and would like to personally pick up your items, Click & Collect gives you the freedom to do so at a nearby IKEA store or collection point.
- For home deliveries, note that available timeslots and costs will depend on your postcode, order weight and product availability. Always check the estimated delivery date provided at checkout or via order confirmation received on your email.
