This delivery option is best when you have larger orders that require professional handling and placement or if you prefer not to handle heavy or bulky items yourself. A delivery driver will bring your order into your home and place it in one room of your choice.
Cost considerations: Generally priced higher than 'Parcel Delivery', this service offers a flat delivery fee of ₹799, calculated at checkout—making it a cost-effective choice for heavier shipments ranging from 20 kg to 500 kg.
Item size and type restrictions: Ideal for larger, bulky items (e.g. sofas, wardrobes, or kitchen appliances) that might be challenging to move yourself. And is automatically calculated under 'Home Delivery option' if the total order weight exceeds 20 kgs.
Timing and scheduling factors: You’ll have an option to select a delivery slot on which you wish to receive the delivery. If you will not be at home, you can select 'Authority to Leave' at checkout, and your items will be left in a safe and secure location at your home.
Location/distance factors: Appropriate for homes with accessible entry points, including apartments with elevator or a safe stairway (note any restrictions such as up to fourth level of the building if no elevator is available). See the terms and conditions for more details.
Customer effort required: Minimal effort is required on your part since the delivery driver handles the heavy lifting inside to one room of your choice. This can include bringing the items upstairs if necessary to your chosen room.
