Product details

With this day-bed you quickly and easily create space for overnight guests. Just pull out the bed base and you get a double bed in no time.

With some soft, fluffy pillows as back support, you easily transform this day-bed into a comfortable sofa.

The large drawers have space for extra duvets, pillows, linens or other things you need to store, but want to have close at hand.

The high frame creates a cosy cocoon feeling, and is lacquered so that it's easy to maintain.

  • The daybed must be combined with two mattresses, 80x200. They are placed on top of each other when you use the daybed as a single bed, and next to each other when you use it as a double bed.

    Combines with other furniture in the HEMNES series.

    Mattress and bedlinen are sold separately.

    Slatted bed base is included.

    The day-bed is not to be used as two single beds, it should only be used as a double bed when the bed base is pulled out.

A good bedAnonymous reviewerI like the fact it extends from a single to a double,would be really nice if it extended a bit further so that the head end was the part with the 3 sided wood and your feet go at the extending part if that makes sense.That way pillows would stay in place and both people have a proper head end and free to move feet.5

Good product, poor delivery service Anonymous reviewerOverall we are happy with the bed, we found the build ok with 2 of us. Unfortunately we couldn’t build it in one go because we were sent 3 parts in white and 1 part in grey which was really frustrating and it took several days to get the correct parts. The drawers are really spacious for my daughter’s toys. We do find the mattresses stacked do move around a bit but it’s not really an issue for her with a sheet holding them together. 4

Missing 16 screws.. Anonymous reviewerStarted to assembly the bed and and in a half way realised there's 16 missing specific size screws. Absolutely fuming, as the whole room is with 2 massive parts of bed and there's no option to raise the issue of missing parts, only missing peaces... On order history... Completely ruined the day and I don't have space to move in a flat now as its all over in parts... The review is based on missing parts and no option to clame missing parts... 2

A good space saver but not perfect Anonymous reviewerI’ve just put together one of these - which was quite the task - and placed two mattresses that are advertised to go with it on top. They’re too big and if you shuffle them too much the bed comes apart. Hopefully they’ll softer and fit together better, but it’s a bit disappointing after all the effort of putting it together. 4

What is fibreboard?

Fibreboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fibreboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
