Djuparp cover is made of velvet which, through a traditional weaving technique, gives the fabric a warm, deep colour and a soft surface with a dense pile and light, reflective shine.

The cover is removable and can be machine washed. Divide the cover to make it easier to fit in the washing machine.

Love our sofa bedAnonymous reviewerQuick and easy to assemble, and surprisingly simple to move up tight stairs as it's entirely flatpack. We originally had a sofa bed with fixed arms that wouldn’t fit, so we had to return it. However, the Vimle was the perfect replacement. Comfortable to sit on and just as comfortable to sleep on, highly recommended.
Super comfyAnonymous reviewerA bit of a pain to assemble and the bottom base board by the feet doesn’t really feel all that secure. The arm rests are literally the worst part about this. Unless you’re some circus contortionist it’s nigh on impossible to screw them in without back pain.
Once assembled sitting on it is lovely. It’s firm but still got a bit of give. The removable covers are a big bonus so I know I can just wash them if they get dirty. I just fear for the day I have to disassemble it just to wash the armrest covers
The pull out sofabed is also really nice to sleep on. But the springs are too firm so pulling out the bed is quite challenging. I wish I went for the sofabed where the bed pulls out like drawers under the bed

initially i thought it was idesl and now im stuck with it .cushions need rearranged every couple of hours bottom ones slide out and the top ones fall into the gap .it has started to sag in middle and it gives me back ache .mechanism for bed part is stiffening so not easy to assemble.can i send it back .it was expensive
Not recommended Anonymous reviewerI bought this sofa almost a year ago. Initially it seemed quite comfortable but the cushions need to be rearranged regularly which can be quite annoying. It has now started to sink and cause me a lot of lower back pain when I sit on it. I don’t recommend it all. It also started to make squeaky noises

Added task rabbit to my order - this is just a third party which involves organising and would have been easier to do direct rather than via Ikea. But the actual service from task rabbit was good.
Comfortable sofa and bedAnonymous reviewerWe have had this sofa bed for over 2 years now and can say this was a really good purchase. In our small 1-bedroom flat, we wanted to be able to host friends or family overnight. This was a great purchase for it.
The sofa / cushions themselves are super comfortable, we would keep napping on it when we first got it! Very squishy and inviting.
It's also great that you can unzip the cushion fabric and wash them. Stains are easily treatable for other parts of the sofa you can't unzip.
The bed part is also very good for a sofa bed. However it obviously won't be comfortable if you sleep on it for 2+ nights.
Over time, the top part of the bed has become raised, almost like it has been rolled up and won't go flat again. This can be uncomfortable when sleeping on the bed, and this is why I'm not rating it 5*, and also because it is a pricy product!

Nice sofa bed but cushions slip outAnonymous reviewerThis is a good sofa bed, comfortable as a sofa and as a bed. The only issue we have had is every day you have to pull the back cushions up and reslide the seat cushions to the back. We plan to buy some velcro to give them a little more grip.

Be prepared to dispose of a LOT of cardboard. Nice to see that most of the packaging was reusable or recyclable bar the tape. It does come with a lot of extra fixings that you may not need, depending on the configuration you bought.
I like a firm mattress, so this was fine for 2 weeks whilst my son was staying. Once you get the knack, very easy to pull up & out & push down to put away.
Only minor gripe is the back cushions + headrest do tend to push down & push the seat cushions out. This means you do need to rearrange them daily.
The footrest is huge. Plenty of room for a set of double bedding. You do need space to move it out of the way when the bed is up at night.
The dark denim is more black than blue.
For the price, it does the job.
Strange noiseAnonymous reviewerBought this and find that the seats make a weird noise every time someone moves around on it and the seat cushions always move out forwards off the sofa which makes it uncomfortable for anyone sitting on that seat. Constantly need to get up and reposition the cushion seat back against the sofa. Does anyone else experience this issue?
