5 comfort zones right where you need them support hips and shoulders, creating a natural spine alignment.
Pocket springs respond independently without transferring motion and follow your movements to support your spine and joints.
Edge-to-edge pocket springs allow air to circulate for better breathability and there is no loss of comfort if 2 mattresses are placed next to each other.
The mattress may need about 72 hours to fully regain its shape and comfort after having been roll-packed. Any wrinkles will disappear too.
Sometimes the packaging may have given the mattress a noticeable smell which will disappear over a short period of time.

Soft and saggyAnonymous reviewerI previously had a medium firm pocket sprung mattress from Ikea that was great. This is not. It’s soft and sags where you sit (I am not heavy). Having used it for a few months it has not stood up to use and it is a complete waste of money at nearly £300. I also bought a songesand bed frame with luroy slats which is the worst bed I’ve ever bought or used. I’ve bought several malm beds before with no issue but this one is so poorly built the frame squeaks every time you move and the slats creak horrendously. £660 down the drain. I don’t think I will be buying from Ikea again.

Contacted customer service who advised once opened will not refund or exchange. Was advised to sell it on EBay. Shocking and disrespectful Customer Service.
Very comfy and great value for money.Anonymous reviewerI’m really pleased with this mattress. It’s a huge improvement on my previous one and is incredibly comfortable and easy to sleep on. I’ve been sleeping much better since making the switch.
The mattress was also really well packaged and, despite its size, surprisingly easy to transport thanks to the handy Velcro straps, which made moving it around much more manageable.
Overall, excellent value for money and a purchase I’m very happy with. Would definitely recommend!

Good choice!Anonymous reviewerWe needed to replace our 10 year old mattress… a very good quality and quite expensive one, which still looked good but was beginning to sag. We had tried out this medium/firm Valevåg mattress several times in store and decided to give it a try, especially as the option to replace it, if it was not suitable, seemed a great reassurance. So far in just over a week of sleeping on the mattress we have not been disappointed, and it has supported my side-sleeping and hip problems well.

Good value and extra comfortableAnonymous reviewerThis mattress was an upgrade from my old one, the pocket spring zones really make a difference to the comfort level for a peaceful night's sleep. I had originally intended to separately purchase a mattress topper, but honestly I haven't needed to as the mattress is perfect without one. Just one thing to be aware of there is an odor from the mattress for the first couple of days and even though it reaches it's right size very quickly it's best not to sleep on it straight away, especially if sensitive to smells. Very happy with this mattress, I should have bought it sooner.
Guarantee not worth havingAnonymous reviewerMattress developed a large hole in the structure of the foam layer in just over 12 months, leaving springs poking through. Ikea refused to do anything as the mattress had some discolouration from a dark bedsheet being used despite the very visible structural issues and this not being part of the guarantee.
Poor quality, saggy rubbishAnonymous reviewerI tried this mattress when in store, and it felt good although I was only able to try the single bed—it was my mistake. This mattress was supposed to be at least medium firm. I bought a double and when I unwrapped it at home, even after three days it's just a horrible, saggy, not at all medium-firm feeling for a mattress. It's too soft, caves in the middle, the sides collapse when you get up and sit on it. I am returning it at a cost to me because I cannot use it. It's so bad.

Persevered but had to move to spare bedroom. Loved the feel of the mattress but just lacked the necessary support for us. IKEA were very helpful in resolving the issue.

Poor quality mattressAnonymous reviewerI tested the mattress before buying in one of IKEA Branch. I prefer the firm mattress and bought a king size mattress.
I gave it one week time before using it, so that i have good experience(Ikea recommend to use after 3 days for better experience).
The mattress is saggy, it is too soft, and when i sit on it, it saggs in center and also on sides. I m a thin lean person and it should not sagg even with my weight.
The quality is not as it was portrayed.
The return policy is not smooth. I contacted for return and refund through app, they gave me a ticket no and asked to contact the customer service team, as the request did not proceeded further for no obvious reason.
The customer service was very bad and i had worst experience of my life.
I hardly used it for 4-5 days.
I would not recommend anyone to fall for IKEA products, they are not making quality mattresses anymore.
Ikea need to work on quality more.
