Soft and extremely comfortableAnonymous reviewerWe have been looking for something a lot softer than our old mattress and having trawled through multiple shops this Valevag medium-firm one is the softest one we tried at a surprisingly low price.
I was a bit sceptical about a rolled-up spring mattress, but it made it easy to get in a small car and it sprung right out when unwrapped and was ready to sleep on that evening.
Overall we're extremely happy with it, I'm a side sleeper and its lovely and soft and my shoulders and hips sink in nicely and supports me really well.5

Not firm - leaving you with a back painAnonymous reviewerThis mattress is not firm and doesn't allow me to properly rest at night as my back in unsupported. I haven't used it for long, but since the first night I wake up with serious lower back pain.
I've had a medium firm Hövåg mattress for the past 5 years which was very good. The product was discontinued, so I chose the Valevåg as I understood it is the equivalent of the Hövåg. Very far from the truth - while a medium firm Hövåg offered support, the Valevåg is soft and you sink in it.
Very disappointed. I will need to return the product.1

Firm?Anonymous reviewerWe bought this mattress thinking it would be as good as the one we had in Japan. Unfortunately it is not firm nor does hold it's shape well. There is a noticeable difference between my and my partner's side. Would not consider again unless they bring the extra firm version back.2
