Discontinued mirror doors sped our decision to buyAnonymous reviewerWe decided to buy hinged doors rather than sliding doors as we found access much easier. Two Tyssedal mirror doors in the middle of a 3 metre run of doors gave a pleasing appearance. The mirror doors were on sale as they were being discontinued so we bought them and finalised the design to purchase the balance of the PAX wardrobes two weeks later. The doors are good quality but I was slightly disappointed with the PAX finish as it was damaged when I plastered around the wardrobes that I had built into a recess. The overall look is excellent but the finish is not as robust as Malm. 5

Material

What is fibreboard?

Fibreboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fibreboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.

"I was inspired by the idea of creating furniture that makes it possible to furnish your entire bedroom in the same style. The result is the TYSSEDAL series. It’s light, neat and soft - with a handcrafted feeling in every detail. How about a headboard that the sunlight can filter through, a wardrobe with mirrors in the doors, and chests of drawers and bedside tables with softly shaped tops and drawer bottoms with a printed pattern. All the pieces are on turned legs and have handles in brushed chrome. The quality and style I know will last for many years."
