Reviews

Wardrobe doorsAnonymous reviewerSorry but the quality of these doors is very poor . The covering is very thin and I feel if you marked it and had to wipe it off you would take the top layer off . Also the weight of them has reduced so even when you take them off the rack in ikea they have a tendency to bow . I think a lot of ikea products have had a cost cutting job done on them and the quality of a few years ago has gone . Company's don't want things to last as its not profitable for them . It's a throw away society now .3

Lovely doorsAnonymous reviewerThis is a very classy door. Lovely smooth finish. 5
Wardrobes Anonymous reviewerFantastic value for what we paid5
Discontinued mirror doors sped our decision to buyAnonymous reviewerWe decided to buy hinged doors rather than sliding doors as we found access much easier. Two Tyssedal mirror doors in the middle of a 3 metre run of doors gave a pleasing appearance. The mirror doors were on sale as they were being discontinued so we bought them and finalised the design to purchase the balance of the PAX wardrobes two weeks later. The doors are good quality but I was slightly disappointed with the PAX finish as it was damaged when I plastered around the wardrobes that I had built into a recess. The overall look is excellent but the finish is not as robust as Malm. 5
Great productAnonymous reviewerHaving chosen a blue door which was on display I was disappointed that the colour option was no longer available. However the assistants gave advice about buying a neutral colour door & then painting with a colour choice of our own. Appreciated the information in the store about how to achieve a good finish. We are still in process of sanding etc but hopeful it will turn out well. 5
WardrobesAnonymous reviewerThese wardrobes are good quality, look really nice, especially with some marching mirrored doors. Very pleased.5
Doors Anonymous reviewerThe doors are good quality, IMO they would benefit from marked handle holes, I did order a guide but was advised the doors were marked. 4

This product is up to the usual high standard expected from IKEA.Anonymous reviewerThe instructions are well laid out and if followed, the finished article is well worth the effort. From the initial design process, finding all the features wanted to complete your dream space, to the final build is well worth the wait. 4

This store matches up better than even the expensive custom closet doors. I have used this product for over 25 years. Just love it!

Material

What is fibreboard?

Fibreboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fibreboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
