Nice table, weird smell!Anonymous reviewerI like this table from a design and practicality standpoint. It's chunky and sturdy, looks the part with its wooden top and took me only 25 mins to put together.
The biggest downside seems to be the smell of it, I'm not sure if it's some sort of coating they use on the top but it had a strong chemically smell when first opened and after a few days in use it has this distinct "public bathroom" smell. Yep, I'm typing on my laptop on this table right now with the smell of a public underpass on a hot summers day.
Hopefully it wears out because otherwise this is a 5-star table.

Solid and sturdy table and a stylish look for the kitchen making a pleasant change to the standard kitchen table set up that is the norm perhaps for a busy and functional room in the home.
A good quality set. Chairs have removable covers and there is a choice of colour finish. Heavy but not excessively so but more sturdy and robust with comfortable seating on the stools and a nice height. Chairs tuck in and under the table nicely to allow room when not in use. Pleased with product.
