In the IKEA Home smart app, you can turn the control outlets on or off at any time, and also schedule the settings with timers grouped with other smart products.
Use the IKEA Home smart app, a remote control or a motion sensor to turn the plug on or off. You can connect up to 10 plugs to one remote control or motion sensor.
By connecting this product to the DIRIGERA hub, you get even more out of it and can also control it, together with other smart products, in the IKEA Home smart app.

Quite good but only 3 stars due to some design issues.Anonymous reviewerThis plug is basic & straight forward. It’s easy to pair with a remote control (RC) without needing a hub and they work well. Doors, walls & floors don’t hinder use & the plug remembers if it was on or off if there’s a power failure. CONS: 1) You can pair multiple plugs to one RC but each plug only allows one RC to be directly paired with it (I believe the same applies if a motion sensor is the controller); being able to control a plug with multiple RCs around the house would be good. If a hub enables this (no info online to say it can) it’s a lot to pay for basic operation; I’m using plugs which are over 15 years old & can pair 6 RCs per plug & there’s no hub. 2) The pairing / power light & reset button are VERY small & VERY difficult to see (no image in the instructions identifying the reset button). 3) The plug is too wide. Multiples can fit side by side in a double wall socket but not an extension cable strip. There’s room for improvement without hiking a decent price.

Simple smart on/off compatible with Philips HueAnonymous reviewerTook a bit of a risk after seeing people say that other Ikea smart plugs work in the Philips Hue ecosystem (the Bridge is required).
If you need a simple smart on/off switch, this works absolutely perfectly, at a fraction of the price of an official Philips one. Just press & hold the small button on the plug to start pairing, search for devices on the Hue app, and it should show up as an on/off plug.
I've got a lamp plugged into it, which can be controlled from my Logitech Harmony Elite remote, as well as a Philips Smart Button at the same time. Both work absolutely perfectly.

Tretakt zigbee plugs with Homeseer HS4Anonymous reviewerMy Z-wave sockets are failing one by one, and I was checking AliExpress for replacements. I was surprised to find these Zigbee plugs in the UK and cheaper than AliExpress with a UK warranty. They work as repeaters with Z2M and Homeseer HS4 so I bought a box of them. Excellent !

Both connected to my zigbee controller and got detected by Home assistant in seconds.
I've wanted zigbee plugs for ages (all my orhers are Wifi) and these are perfect and for £6, an absolute steal. I'll be grabbing a dozen or so of these when they come back into stock.

PerfectAnonymous reviewerA relatively low profile for a plug/socket that doesn’t look out of place. We have a couple of gadgets that plug into the mains using outlets that are difficult to reach. These TRETAKT devices take care of that! Easily controlled from the app and make life a tad easier for this old man.
