I had been looking around for a similar item (the closest I got was one from Habitat at Sainsburys but was not attracted to their design). So much easier and quicker to clean up mess and the most important thing is that you can actually wash it after each meal which for me is a bonus. Will buy a few more when next I come down to Ikea.

Lovely cheerful placemats...ridiculous labels!Anonymous reviewerWe read previous reviews and thought we could improve on techniques for removing the sticky residue left by labels. We failed! Such a shame as our placemats now are firmly stuck to the table along with various fluff and crumbs that has crept underneath. They do come off with a tug. Good quality, value for money mats but disappointing when other labels satisfyingly peel off...please investigate Ikea!
Super sticky stickersAnonymous reviewerGreat placemat, just can't get the sticker residue off! Tried everything and they all end up sticking together or to whatever you put on them. Massive design fail by IKEA. Have sent product feedback to IKEA. A wasted £10 for the 8 we bought.
