You will need 1 STOPP FILT rug underlay with anti-slip (165x235 cm) for this rug. Trim if necessary.

This rug fits with a 2-3 seat sofa, but can also fit other size sofas depending on how you place it.

It may take time for fold marks to disappear after unpacking your rug. Iron, if needed.

The price is an additional plus. We bought a few of them and cut and hemmed the edges to create bespoke sizes to use as runner on the landing area, rugs near the beds etc. The fabric is ok, not very sturdy but that was a plus for us when customising. It can stretch and the edges have not always been straight, but for the price, we were very happy. 5

Nope!Anonymous reviewerI suppose these are fine if you put them under a table or in a room you hardly use but they do not wash well at all. Not only do they shrink by at least 4 inches, they dry with big yellow patches. I've tried a short spin, a fast spin and drip dry, still got the patches and they need to be ironed when damp or they are just a crumpled rag on the floor. Bought them for the kitchen as I have dogs and thought they would be as good as the last washable cotton ones I bought which lasted for years. These just look awful and no longer fit the space they did before washing.1

Material

What is cotton?

Cotton is a practical and hardwearing natural material. It comes from the seed capsule of the cotton plant, which forms small wads when it blooms. Cotton rugs are easy to care for, because you can wash them in an ordinary washing machine and they can stand high temperatures. Cotton is heavy when wet, so it's important to check that your machine has enough weight capacity. It's also good to know that cotton may shrink, so you may have to stretch the rug a bit after you've washed it.
