All new materials have their own particular smell, which gradually disappears. Airing and vacuuming the rug will help to eliminate the smell.

You will need 1 STOPP FILT rug underlay with anti-slip (165x235 cm) for this rug. Trim if necessary.

This rug fits under a 4-seat dining table, but can of course be used how and where you like in your home.

This rug fits with a 2-seat sofa, but can also fit other size sofas depending on how you place it.

The rug is machine-woven.

Airing and vacuuming will help to eliminate the smell that the rug can have when it is new.

Do not wash.

Do not bleach.

Do not tumble dry.

Do not iron.

Do not dryclean.

Vacuum and rotate the rug regularly.

Dry spots; remove immediately by scraping carefully towards the middle of the spot.

Wet spots; do not rub. Absorb with paper towels, damp with cloth and mild detergent.

Professional carpet cleaning when needed.

Great for a veranda Anonymous reviewerThe overall appearance of this rug is great, the variation of the neutral colour flecks give the product depth. The rug has been used in an outdoor but covered veranda, and is fit for its purpose. I will say that the rug has a fairly fluid structure, so if you have orderly tendencies, you’ll spend time straightening the rug edges. Another point would be to use a rug underlay/antislip if used on a polished/smooth floor. However, for the price point and appearance I am happy with my purchase. 4

Material

What is jute?

Jute is a very hardwearing fibre that is found in the stem of the jute plant. It’s an easy-to-grow plant that requires very little fertiliser, pesticides or water and is ready to harvest after only 120 days. The jute fibre is often used for ropes and sacks but is also known for its silky-smooth lustre and can be spun into finer threads which are then woven. In our range we often use woven jute for items like curtains, rugs and furniture.
