Comfortable but fiddlyAnonymous reviewerGot this as a “grief” chair hoping it would be a comfortable space. Found it gave me more grief trying to put it together. Needs to be exactly aligned to get the screws in underneath which is very hard to do even for an ikea lived and breathed home. The wings went on ok but also quite difficult to get lined up just right and I’m still not sure it’s all fitted properly in place. Chair is comfortable though and a lovely colour.

It’s a comfortable chair and the colour is great, bold and makes a statement, but the only thing is our Cat has claimed it as their chair! If you do have a Cat try and find a spray to keep the cat from using the chair as a scratching post! I’m glad I bought the chair.

ComfortableAnonymous reviewerVery comfortable chair !! The back support is very good the only criticism would be that it is not so easy to assemble . It is not so easy to fit the sides on with the nuts and bolts but once done it is perfect for my needs !!!
Excellent value for moneyAnonymous reviewerI am 70 and have a dodgy back. I bought this chair for its firm seat and upright seating position. I am very pleased with it and hope it lasts as long as previous IKEA purchases.
My only negative comment would be the problem lining-up and bolting one of the side pieces. Quite a struggle, but got there in the end.

It was a little bit fiddly to bolt together and was definitely a 2 person job - but well worth the effort. A really comfortable armchair at a very competitive price.

Stands the test of timeAnonymous reviewerI have had this chair for over 10 years and it's been through two house moves and still looks great! The only reason I'm now possibly having to buy a new one is that the padding on the seat and the back needs redoing and because the chair is such good value, quotes for getting it re-stuffed are coming to more than buying a new one. If IKEA was looking for a way to become more sustainable, selling replacement seat cushions and a way to restuff the back of the chair would be amazing because there is nothing else wrong with this seat.

Love my statement chairAnonymous reviewerBought this to go in our navy bedroom and it gives the splash of bright colour I was looking for. Being disabled, I spend a lot of time in bed and so having a comfy chair for people to sit on while visiting was important. Making it the statement it is is a bonus and this chair makes me smile every time I see it! My 11 year old was in charge of building it but she did need assistance from my husband to align the pieces before attaching to each other, and it does require a little strength.
