Great comfortable chair Anonymous reviewerWe love this chair. Its really comfortable and the green fabric we chose is great and hard wearing 5
The Most comfy chairAnonymous reviewerLoved the colour of this chair ,and it really is comfortable 5
Comfortable chair Anonymous reviewerVery comfortable chair of good quality however it is a little difficult to assemble but worth the effort 5
Stands the test of timeAnonymous reviewerI have had this chair for over 10 years and it's been through two house moves and still looks great! The only reason I'm now possibly having to buy a new one is that the padding on the seat and the back needs redoing and because the chair is such good value, quotes for getting it re-stuffed are coming to more than buying a new one. If IKEA was looking for a way to become more sustainable, selling replacement seat cushions and a way to restuff the back of the chair would be amazing because there is nothing else wrong with this seat.5
Great chairAnonymous reviewerGreat chair! Got into some trouble trying to anchor one of the arms whilst putting together! Sorted in the end! 5
Good chairAnonymous reviewerComfy, stylish and solid chair that I often find myself dozing off in of late. Really good buy.5
Love my statement chairAnonymous reviewerBought this to go in our navy bedroom and it gives the splash of bright colour I was looking for. Being disabled, I spend a lot of time in bed and so having a comfy chair for people to sit on while visiting was important. Making it the statement it is is a bonus and this chair makes me smile every time I see it! My 11 year old was in charge of building it but she did need assistance from my husband to align the pieces before attaching to each other, and it does require a little strength.5
Cosy and great for nursing babyAnonymous reviewerI have spent hours and hours nursing our baby in this chair. It's comfy, cosy and the arms are nice and supportive for feeding. I got the footstool to make it extra comfy. No need for a special nursing chair which costs a fortune. Looks cool too. 5
Comfy n cosy! Anonymous reviewerClassic look, comfortable and hardwaring. Easy to sponge off stains, spills or marks. 5
ComfyAnonymous reviewerLovely colour and very comfy5
Chair to fall asleep inAnonymous reviewerComfortable armchair, easy to fall asleep in, perhaps just a little low for us, which may prove difficult in years to come, perhaps the legs could be replaced for taller ones?4
Comfortable and good valueAnonymous reviewerAs above4
Bad padding on armrest Anonymous reviewer"I recently purchased a sofa, and while it has a stylish design, I'm really dissatisfied with the armrest padding. The padding feels too thin and doesn’t provide adequate support. What's worse, when I lean on the armrests, I can actually feel the hard wood pieces in the corners, which makes it quite uncomfortable. The sharpness of the wood is noticeable, and it causes discomfort after even a short period of use. It really detracts from the overall comfort and makes relaxing on the sofa difficult."

comfy and attractiveAnonymous reviewerLove this chair, will be buying another. Would be nice to have covers to change with, hopefully this is something ikea will do as it doesn't go with all of our changeable sofa covers for our ektorp sofas.4
Great purchaseAnonymous reviewerI bought this chair as it is a compact design but not too small to be comfortable and it looks so stylish 5
Needs a bit of welly Anonymous reviewerLooks great and fabulous colour but it’s a tricky beast to get together if you’re doing it alone. I have assembled a lot of flat pack over the years but this required all my body weight to get the wing sides to slot into place and then there’s a fair bit of jiggling to get the underside bolts aligned. The seat is significantly firmer than the chair I tried in store but maybe it will become more comfy with some use. It’s a pretty basic construction so rather overpriced. 3
strandmon-wingback chairAnonymous reviewerNot too bad to put together just needed a bit of elbow!
Comfortable chair, good price, my only complaint is the awful smell! Smells damp although it isn’t and the box EPA’s dry. I really hope that by airing it, it will go away! 4
Nightmare to constructAnonymous reviewerLooks nice enough but quality of upholstery underneath is appalling . Corduroy is fraying and staples are barely holding it . Too much hassle to complain and return , I intend to put some proper upholstery tacks into the bottom . Absolute nightmare to assemble - took more time than 2 sofas ! Needed brute force . It’s proved a popular addition to our seating but the quality really isn’t that great. Also if you’re buying dark green make sure you have a lint roller 🙄2
Cheap and cheerfulAnonymous reviewerWe love how the colour brightens up our room. However, that, along with its low price, are probably its only positives. It is tricky to assemble and locating the bolt holes requires strength and patience. Once assembled, it looks great but is pretty uncomfortable to sit on for any length of time. The cushioning on the back and the seat is very thin so not very accommodating. We have had to buy an additional seat cushion to try to alleviate that. I can only describe the experience as like sitting on a cheap train seat. Should have tried in store before we purchased on line. 3
Lovely chair but bit of an effort to put together!Anonymous reviewerGreat addition and very comfortable. Took a bit of time to put together particularly getting the arms on! Worth the stress but maybe instructions could be more helpful 5
