The cut-out handles have a metal edge that makes the shoe cabinet more durable and is a characteristic design detail.
The legs make it easy to access and clean under the shoe cabinet.
As the cabinet only has legs at the front, it can stand close up to the wall above the skirting-board.

Looks great and does the jobAnonymous reviewerBought this shoe store to replace a shabby old one, and it does look good. Holds 8 pairs of shoes, slim design, and fairly straightforward for any self-assembler. The only minor drawback was the absence of rear legs, which apparently is intended in the design. We have tall skirting boards, so I had to fit a couple of extra legs (unused kitchen cabinet legs from a previous project) so that the unit would stand straight, and then pack it out from the wall when fixing it in place.

VERY NEAT SOLUTION Anonymous reviewerThis is a very neat solution for shoe storage, it's of robust construction, secures well to the wall and is unobtrusive. I had to trim the side plates slightly to clear the skirting board (even though I only have 4" skirting) but other than that it was straightforward to assemble and secure to the wall.

Perfect FitAnonymous reviewerI purchased two of these slim shoe cabinets. One was for downstairs and one for upstairs. They are slim but fit my shoes in very neatly. The putting together did take some time to work out and I am quite a handy person. Once one was done the second took half the time. You have to have it fixed to the wall because it would easily tip up/ fall away. Very sleek and is exactly what I wanted

The grey is a a great colour and the cabinet holds more shoes than I was expecting. We store very large boots and shoes in it and they fit very well. Great price too, it is worth every penny.
