My sheets keep coming off the bed all the time now. I have considered bringing it back, because it really isn't nice and the price that was shown in the shop was the one for the single bed size, so it ended up being a lot more expensive than I expected. If you regularly spill liquids in your bed, this is probably the right product for you, but it's not what I expected.1

When we were walking round the showroom and touched the sample it was cotton and not shiny. But the actual product is slippery to the touch. A fitted sheet placed on top of it slips off the moment you climb in the bed. no friction between this protector and the sheet at all. Horrible. Going to give up with this. Very disappointed. Do not buy it. 1

Tooooo SlipperyAnonymous reviewerI, like other reviewers, have tried everything to keep the fitted sheet on the mattress. During the night it feels like when my husband rolls over he is literally pulling me and the entire sheet from under me. In the morning it looks like a major battle has gone on in the bed due to the look of the sheets. Totally. It is somewhat cool when you first get in the bed, but your own body heat warms up where you are laying after a while. Did I say for Ikea this protector was quite expensive by Ikea standards. Thought it would do the trick! But, I'm giving up. Don't wanna be a 'quitter', + I love my Ikea, but - - i'm waving the white flag here..... sorrrreeeeeee... 2
Traps heat and too slipperyAnonymous reviewerThe description of the protector being cool is very misleading. My back is constantly hot with the protector reflecting the heat back due to the waxy coating. It’s also very slippery and your sheets just glides on it making it feel very weird and uncomfortable when you roll around. 1 star for the fitting (which is accurate) and there’s not much else that’s good about this very expensive protector. Very disappointed with this as our previous protector of many years from ikea worked well with the Lyocell material that didn’t trap heat - I was looking to replace it but it wasn’t available and opted for this thinking that because it’s much pricier that it would be better but turns out very wrong…1

But have just washed it for the first time and its shrunk and discoloured. Poor for the price.1
