Yes, they crumple in the wash, but I don't iron sheets....life's too short !
Not greatAnonymous reviewerMy son has had the same ikea european single bed for about 6 years, but I recently needed to replace one of the sheets. We don't live near an ikea, and European singles are hard to get hold of elsewhere, so when we were away and near to one I took advantage of being able to pop in.
I was very disappointed in the choice of 2 colours - white or grey - in this size, unlike other sizes with lots of choice.
The grey was more expensive so I assumed the quality would be better, but it is nowhere near as soft as our existing sheets. I'm hoping with use it will soften up, but at the moment it is far too crisp.
