Shrinkflation Anonymous reviewerI have the excellent blue and white stripe tea towels purchased 2-3? years ago and they are 9g heavier. The new version is thinner which means they don't soak water effectively and if used (as we all do!) to hold hot pan lids etc you burn your fingers. Look pretty on Instagram but not fit for purpose now

Poor QualityAnonymous reviewerI bought tea towels from Ikea many moons ago and they lasted for years, the quality was second to none and I was very impressed with them. This latest offering however has left me disappointed, they are so thin and the material is poor, I will be using them as cleaning rags. I've give 3 stars because they are incredibly cheap but they are not fit for purpose in my opinion but maybe I'm too fussy. Usually happy with all Ikea products I buy so this is just a one off I'm sure.
