An elegant set of tea towels might be the key to making your kitchen truly personal. Simply adding a splash of colour or soft fabric can brighten up your entire interior. It can also be an invaluable tool in the kitchen, ready to take on any task. Wiping, swiping, cooking, cleaning – your tea towel can sure pull a heavy load. So, make sure you get one that can handle the pressure.

Tea towels are true team players

Our dish towels will do anything you need them to. Well, sort of. They are perfect for those everyday kitchen tasks, such as wiping up spilled food or drinks or drying the dishes. But they’re also perfect for those maybe not so everyday tasks, like covering your freshly baked cinnamon buns for the afternoon’s “fika”.

You can even use them to style your kitchen. So why not think about them as part of your kitchen decor? Add some style and flair to your kitchen by hanging up the perfect tea towel. And depending on what you’re looking for, there’s a lot to choose from. Whether you prefer something bold and colourful, or discreet and minimalistic. From smaller 35x35 centimetre ones, to larger 50x70 centimetre ones. Linen tea towels, or cotton blend. We’ve got the towel for you.

Should you go big or small?

The size of your tea towels can make all the difference, so how do you know if you need bigger or smaller ones? Well, let’s see.

Do you prefer large tea towels?

Are you tired of drying your pots and pans with a small towel that immediately gets soaked? Sick of grabbing that tiny thing to dry your hands, only to feel it’s wet through and through? Fed up with having to constantly wash the towel because such small a thing gets greasy in an instant?

If you said “yes” to at least two of those questions, we think you have the answer: you’re looking for bigger towels. So, when do you need smaller ones? Let’s go through some more questions.

Or are smaller ones more your style?

Would you be happier if your bigger towels didn’t always dip down in the dirty water when you’re doing the dishes? Fancy placing your towels on the kitchen hooks without them hanging down to the floor? Want to wipe the kitchen counter or table clean without the risk of knocking the other things off the edge?

If so, there you have it: you need smaller towels.

Use your tea towel to the fullest

Our tea towels are both great and quick at absorbing liquids. When they get dirty, just throw them in the washing machine. A no-brainer!They also come with loops for hanging, in one end or both. That way, you don’t have to keep them lying about on the kitchen counter when you’re not using them. Choose between linen and cotton or a cotton blend. Linen is a natural material with a rougher texture. Cotton is a soft material with a smoother texture. Both are very absorbent.

If you’ve got a big family or like to dedicate one towel to one specific task, we advise you to go for a multipack. You can never really have too many towels, you know? Seems like not a day goes by without new areas of use being discovered. And while you’re at it, why not match with a nice apron or some oven gloves and pot holders to complete that kitchen fabric look.
