Looks pretty but is horrendous to assemblyAnonymous reviewerIt’s a pretty lampshade but it’s the most infuriating thing to assemble. The accordion shades bit doesn’t sit in place properly. The little plastic clips you get are wildly inadequate. Used some masking tape to keep it in place whilst I went round the circumference trying to piecemeal get the spacing sorted. I wish I never bought this. Final nail on the coffin is that it doesn’t fit standard lighting fixtures so contemplating rewiring the light or just buying a lampshade reducer ring1

Massive let downAnonymous reviewerLove the design of the light, didn't really have an issue putting it together although a little fiddly, what is a massive issue is that it doesn't have a standard method of fitting. Relies on a hook that doesn't come included and when we have fitted it, the weight of the light on the hook has just pulled the hook from the ceiling, damaging the ceiling in the process. Absolutely nothing wrong with the standard bar fitting that you screw into usually so I'm flummoxed as to why they would change this? Not yet figured a solution for how we can fit this in order to use it which is a massive shame and extremely annoying. Definitely read instructions online before deciding to purchase would be my advise! Not what I expect from Ikea at all, think I've had 4 light fittings from them in the past and this has never been an issue. 2

An appalling piece of designAnonymous reviewerAn appalling piece of design. It is so fiddling to assemble the shade. I ended up having to use heavy duty superglue to hold it together. The small clips don't really work. The glue now looks unsightly, so we are considering moving the shades to somewhere else in the house. The dustbin.1

"The goal was to create a family of small lamps that could spread a soft mood light. I chose pleated lampshades and combined them with softly shaped and coloured metal to create a nostalgic, decorative and simple expression that suits both traditional and modern homes. The pendant lamp also shines downwards, which is perfect over a table. I'm proud of how we solved the design to make the lamps fit in small packages while still making them easy to assemble."
