Positives: • VERY easy to build, no tools required to build the frame. • Lots of space inside and like the drawers • Lots of holes to adjust the rail, drawer and shelf heights Worth noting: • Hinges on the door were tricky-like the thread had been screwed in backwards on the doors, but got them in eventually • Back panel does need the full wardrobe length to go in-I tried hacks but ended up laying the wardrobe on the bed for space to do this • DONT put the locking clips in the bottom drawer before attaching the hinges/doors-the bottom screw was hard to get in with the drawer in place so had to remove it • If you don't want the external side rail, leave off the small hanging rail and one of the suspension rods • Don't forget to buy handles (we forgot) • Door hinges go on the 2nd hole down from the top and the second hole up from the bottom to sit right • If you're using it for a kids wardrobe, you could add another shelf inside5
MisleadingAnonymous reviewerIf you genuinely want a 110 cm wardrobe, it is misleading because it is only 80 cm wide wardrobe and the rest is the external hanger. I will not buy again and I question if I will ever going to buy from ikea ever again.1
Back panel design fault Anonymous reviewerWe couldn’t slide the back panel into the grooves after the method per the instructions didn’t work. Unless the panel is properly installed the whole wardrobe is misaligned i.e. the shelves will not slot on to the rests that are supplied. I am considering whether to pass on the second wardrobe which is still boxed so could be returned but we will probably have another try today. It’s a shame as we really like the style of platsa and the various size options make it a good choice if one has challenging wall heights. 2
Quite Good for the valueAnonymous reviewerWas sceptical after only 1 previous review. Back panel wasn't so bad to install, best way is to slide it into its channel but you'll need plenty of space to do this as you'll essentially need double the wardrobe height to do this. Back panel slightly flimsy, could do with some nails to tac to the shelf. Other than that quite easy to build. Particularly with the key hole slot system. Hinges are easy to install, but I am a legend! 3
NightmareAnonymous reviewerHorrible to build, the back panel doesn't sit right has a gap in the side and the shelf size doesn't match the wardrobe so it has a gap. The hidges are so hard to put on the door.2
