PlatsaAnonymous reviewerIt is very flimsy. But for the price it's ok. Bought it for a broom cupboard in the kitchen. Fitting the back board is a challenge on your own, does say two man/woman job. Must be screwed to the wall as the weight of the door we chose tips it forward. Will be buying another for our little toilet room.4
FineAnonymous reviewerThey're definitely not very sturdy for the purpose they're meant to have, but they're a good size, they look nice, and they're easy to put together.
The only confusion I'm having is with step 10, which plugs up the holes left by the screw-back item to prop the wardrobe to the wall. The pack doesn't come with the screws shown, and even if it did, there is no anchor on the other side of the board for the screw to catch to make it secure. So I'm very confused as to how this cap is meant to stay in place, unless they want you to buy screws to screw the cabinet into the wall? Any help would be appreciated!3
Great product, easy to assemble Anonymous reviewerLove the product, easy to assemble. Would have given it 5 stars if it came with a base to lift it of the ground. It comes with feet which are ideal on a flat surface, but even on full height still wouldn't open on a carpeting. I've had to build a base to fit the units on4
GreatAnonymous reviewerWas easy to assemble. The most important thing is to pay attention to how the lower drawer is fixed as if done wrong would cause problems closing it.
I think the instructions were easy to follow. Assembled it in 2 hours. 5
Awful Anonymous reviewerThe back board panel is impossible to fix, it’s does not slide in as the picture shows. Also the whole frame is extremely flimsy, this new range that clicks together is absolutely awful looks as though it’s going to collapse before the clothes are even hung! 1
Walk in wardrobeAnonymous reviewerBought this as part of refit for a walk in wardrobe at our holiday lodge. Was a bit anxious reading the reviews after ordering, especially as it’s ages since I tackled a flat pack assembly. However the frame was really easy to assemble, the backboard slotted in easily once the frame was correctly aligned (did need an extra pair of hands here though) and though the fibreboard construction is fairly lightweight, it didn’t feel flimsy. Bought the mirror door to complete the wardrobe and despite other reviews, found it easy to fit to the frame once in position. Have left the handle off as Ican’t work out how to fix it on properly

Frame for Plarsa wardrobeAnonymous reviewerEasy to assemble and all parts fitted to frame neatly to make Platsa wardrobe5
Platsa units Anonymous reviewerGreat unit easy to make and versatile 5
Back impossible to get onAnonymous reviewerThe backs of both the units were impossible to get on despite following the instructions. The slot and rhe board seemed to be same size and the slot in the cupboard was rough meaning it's impossible to slide the back down. Had to sand the slot down and take some material of the back board to make it fot3
Easy to assemble Anonymous reviewerPurchased two of these frames and they were easy to assemble. I bought the doors and drawers separately which were also easy to put together. Bit pricy though. 4
Very flimsy and impossible to construct and parts missing.Anonymous reviewerI've just received my Platsa wardrobe and putting the frames together is very easy. However despite following the pretty useless instructions (am I supposed to have extra bits/clips etc these are missing if so!), it split when putting the first pieces together. The side panels rattle when moved and you can hear bits shaking around inside as if its all crumbed apart. It's as strong as cardboard in water! I've had many Ikea products and consider myself adept at flat pack, but this is as sturdy as paper. The flimsy back panel also refuses to go on, I've given up on the doors as they don't align at all Given the price, you're essentially paying for something akin to wet paper mâché (which once set is probably stronger). Never have I been so disappointed with an Ikea product and I don't recommend this at all it's a waste of money. 1
Reasonable priceAnonymous reviewerI pick up from bargain corner, also provided with hinges too but you have to ask.luckily I found the door too only £5. 1
Easy to buildAnonymous reviewerGreat and easy to put together5
Avoid avoid . Anonymous reviewerExaggerated price for a cheap thing. Plywood can’t even hold the sides together. I wish I could return for a refund 1
High price low quality Anonymous reviewerA single wardrobe with mirror and draws totalled £320. For that price I would expect better quality. Frame is flimsy, mirror door is heavy, and hinges aren’t of suitable quality and don’t provide adequate support in the flimsy frame, so the mirror sags preventing top drawer opening cleanly. Disappointing 2
Read the product details carefully!Anonymous reviewerI bought a couple of these 60x180 frames to make a double linen cupboard, using the Plasta configurator tool. I've had Pax before but they are limited to 30 or 50cm depth and I needed 40cm so these were ideal. I bought the 8 feet and the 2 skatval doors to go with them. On making the frames up its immediately apparent that they are VERY lightweight. Great for hanging on a wall but not so good for a floor standing cupboard. The skatval doors are heavy chipboard. Once I had hung the doors on the frames it was immediately apparent that they are too heavy for them, causing the cupboard to topple forwards when the doors were fully opened. Digging into the 'safety' detail back online, it does say that they should be fixed to a wall. I'd not read that, but i don't think that that should be necessary to make a floor-standing product safe. Also, the clips to join the frames together allow for plenty movement and give no rigidity. I don't think this combo should be configured together.2
AwesomeAnonymous reviewerI used the platsa wardrobe to split a room in half and both children absolutely love they're new room with the own privacy. The platsa range is amazingly easy to assemble, and with nothing to screw you just click the parts into place, but its a solid build!!!5
Does the job perfectly - an no tools neededAnonymous reviewerI was a little unsure of the prospect of PLASTA given some of the review I read on assembly of the frames.
I needn't have worried as the instructions were clear and concise as to how the frame is assembled. You need to pay attention to the detail of the drawings and orientation of the panels to ensure everything fits correctly. The backboard fits perfectly as long as you lay the frame down on its front and slide it in slowly.
When I said no tools - that wasnt entirely correct as I did need to use a rubber mallet to ensure the panels clipped together fully (again looking at the detail of the instructions shows exactly how the frame looks once correctly slipped together).
So much quicker than PAX and feels really sturdy.5
Value for money but needs bracing across centre for rigidityAnonymous reviewerGreat value for money and perfect for our small space. Love how easy it is to customise to your needs. The one small but rather crucial fault is that the backboard is impossible to fit as it is too flimsy to give structural support and the sides of wardrobe bow outwards so that the back board doesn't stay in the groove. This results in the whole carcus being misshapen so that when you try to install drawers the runners aren't completely straight and the drawers keep coming off. This can be resolved by adding a fixed strut across the centre of the wardrobe to tie the sides together but it would be helpful if this minor adjustment was made to the design. I have had similar IKEA furniture where this has been the case so not sure why it hasn't been included here.4
The holes in the doorAnonymous reviewerI used a qualified ikes tradesman . Unfortunately The holes where the door is attached to the wardrobe has come loose . I've tried tightening it but keep coming off and door comes off dangerously when opened. I'll be returning as its less than a year.1
