Wardrobe, just what I needed easy to buildAnonymous reviewerWardrobe, just what I needed easy to assemble5
Adjustable legs are not suitableAnonymous reviewerThese are really good wardrobe/cupboard frames, but there is a flaw. The adjustable legs at the front are held by an inserted nut that you put in by belting with a hammer - into MDF! Once the leg is screwed in, this acts as a lever and the nut pulls out very easily. On a set of 3 units (6 legs) four legs have fallen out and can't be put back in.
Also because there is no adjustment at the back of the unit the floor needs to be made perfectly level to avoid rocking. If you put it on carpet the legs dig in and do not have enough adjustment to level the units. Make sure to put something solid like a piece of wood under the legs.
Finally there is no covering for the pull-in nuts that are ubiquitous on Ikea furniture so unly you cover it with a shelf you can see them4
Pax wardrobe sliding doorsAnonymous reviewerI bought a pax wardrobe with sliding doors. We added features, lights glass shelf, organisers and it’s lovely. Doors are smooth wardrobe is organised. I used the planner and then checked then by using planning service in store. Very happy with my purchase5
Pax wardrobe frame excellent qualityAnonymous reviewerGreat wardrobe frame, solid, great quality, great price and quick delivery.5
Wardrobe frameAnonymous reviewerI honestly cant recommend these enough, we did not build them in , left freestanding against wall. Brilliant5
Not idealAnonymous reviewerSays to build lying down, did that and when we lifted it up it split the wood where the screws go on the base!3
Not all colours options are the same constructionAnonymous reviewerI've installed a few of these now, overall they are good quality. However, it is worth noting that the different colours are of different quality. If we take a 100x58x201cm carcass and look at the listed package weights we get the following:
39.38kg Grey Beige
48.66kg Dark Grey
50.17kg White
50.11kg Oak
This translates to the grey beige appearing to be a different construction to the other colours. When cutting one of these to go over a sloped floor I found the grey beige unit side panels were an "egg box" construction. They were made of 2 hardboard panels with 3 verticle particle board strips where the shelf holes are. This didnt seem to be the case for the dark grey units and points to a cost reduction exercise in the manufacturing process.
The grey beige also has the rear panel bonded to the sides so you just unfold it rather than pinning the back panel on. The final difference is the position of the wall fixings which are much higher on the grey beige compared to other colours4
Great for what we neededAnonymous reviewerLovely wardrobe fits perfectly.5
Terrible quality Anonymous reviewerHave had this wardrobe a couple of months and paired it with two mirror doors. In that time the back has come off and broken and as it’s fixed on with nails is difficult to fix. Where the mirror doors screw in, the screw holes have been torn to bits making it almost unusable . Terrible quality for the money.1
Great Value Fot MoneyAnonymous reviewerI bought a complete PAX wardrobe system, which was easy to assemble and fit. Finished this off with SoacePro sliding doors which gave me a fully fitted wardrobe, with a configuration of my choice and allowed me to have full floor to ceiling storage, at roughly 50% of the cost of buying pre built wardrobe units!5
PaxAnonymous reviewerSo happy with the huge amount of storage we now have5
PAX WARDROBEAnonymous reviewerGreat wardrobe base5
Great unit for the priceAnonymous reviewerThe units are of fantastic value and quality, very easy to make and to complete the look we were after, and easy to make your own with all the accessories that can be fitted to your own needs.5
WardrobeAnonymous reviewerExcellent quality, easy to assemble, such versatility with the internal fittings to custom your wardrobe at your choice5
Quality first classAnonymous reviewerThese larger units work so well together with the corner unit I also purchased. The quality is first class and they go together so quickly. We did 5 full units over a weekend and the bedroom is looking fantastic. I love the fact you can customise the interior to suit your needs. So roll on the next room I can’t wait to get my next order in.5
Slight issueAnonymous reviewerAfter the wardrobe was built and put in place, fitted to another one, I had reason to rmove and re-position a hanging rail. In doing so I accidentally leaned against the rear surface which pushed it out of place i.e. some of the pins holding it must have been pushed a little way ut, leaving a gap.4
Pax wardrobeAnonymous reviewerWe have had several Pax wardrobes over the years and they suit us perfectly.5
Great value & qualityAnonymous reviewerOrdered extra cupboard to 'line' alcoves at each side of bed as am hanging matching wardrobe doors to mirror fitted robes on other side. The stained oak finish is lovely colour & having wood ready cut in this way makes job easier. Price is so good too5
Excellent productAnonymous reviewerGreat product quality and looks good5
Great quality.Anonymous reviewerEasy to assemble, but does need two people as a large item. Good quality, looks good.5
