Different wall materials require different types of fixing devices. Use fixing devices suitable for the walls in your home, sold separately.

Two persons are needed for the assembly of this furniture.

The frame can be assembled in an upright position if your ceiling height is a minimum of 237 cm. Follow the assembly instructions in the package.

If you want to complete your PAX frame with a sliding door, the minimum ceiling height required is 240 cm.

Doors and interiors are sold separately.

2 pieces of 75 cm wide frames are included in the combination.

When the TaskRabbit team arrived to assemble the unit, they were unable to complete the job due to the incorrect items. As a result, I incurred a charge of £227.63 for an assembly that could not be carried out completely. In addition, there were structural damages on the delivered doors. Overall, the service received on this occasion has been below the expected standard, resulting in both financial loss and unnecessary time spent resolving the issue.1

Lovely, great quality wardrobes.Anonymous reviewerI bought 2 x 75cm wide wardrobe frames with Mehamn sliding doors, with the white panelling facing rather than the wood effect. Although the instructions said it was a 2-person job to assemble the frames, I actually did it on my own (& I'm not exactly young!). Perhaps not recommended for safety, but it illustrates the ease of assembly. They are robust & really good quality wardrobes. I'm really pleased with how the doors fitted too, 4 lightweight panels each door that fitted solidly into the frames. They open & close very smoothly & lined up perfectly, so either Ikea are brilliant or I'm a genius! Would definitely recommend.5

Material

What is particleboard?

Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
